Our Services
-
Power and water utility bill payment assistance
This charitable tradition started with our founder Bl. Frederic Ozanam in the early 19th century in Paris. As a student he shared his firewood with a person in need. Last year we helped over 400 families and individuals, our brothers and sisters, with their utility bills. In most cases we were their last resort.
-
Food assistance through St. Joseph Food Pantry
Last year our sister organization, located in the same building, provided food packages to 21,000 families in need, many of whom were referred by us.
-
Prescription drug payment assistance
We provide payment assistance for those who are temporarily unable to cover the cost of an essential prescribed medication.
-
Halfway House housing assistance
We support individuals with substance abuse issues who are verifiably moving toward rehabilitation and are transitioning back to society.
-
GED tuition assistance
We provide tuition assistance to support individuals who are committed to advance their education by obtaining a GED diploma.
-

If we are unable to provide assistance in a particular situation we will refer our clients to other agencies with relevant expertise and resources.
